Leather processing
is the first step. Leather is sourced from different places. Often the leather is imported from different countries or it is sourced locally. We have complete processing unit which can hold the maximum capacity of 4800 skins per day. Our unit has automated shavers, driers and stretchers making it possible to get regular production through out the year. We are adopters of Cleaner Production Technologies under NEQS .
Leather Store and Raw Material Store
Enables us to keep stock of leather up to 40,000 skins all the time and this level is maintained throughout the year. Leather is sorted in leather selection department according to grade and required thickness.
Our leather sourcing in very global and we use all kind of leather from all the sources depending on the likes and dislikes of our customers and also the nature and design of the glove. We have to decide which origin of leather is best for use. Mostly we use raw leather from local sources and African origin. Leather is usually sorted in A and B grade. Only the rejects are dealt separately.
Cutting
is a vital part of whole process. To keep up with the glove production, we have our cutting department consisting of 50 Hydraulic cutting presses with the overall capacity of 20,000 Pairs in single shift only. Every department has its own quality control which is directly answerable to Quality manager. Leather cutting is done on cutting press and the metal cutting molds are used for cutting. All the cutting molds are made from the standard patterns which are made by following the International standard of Hand size and dexterity of fingers. Machine cutting gives us best standard, uniform quality and regular capacity. This enables us to work more efficiently.
Printing and Heat Transfer
Stitching
Unit consists of 400 stitching Machines and still growing more. These stitching machines are divided in multiple halls for making it possible for the quality control supervisors to control the quality at each step of stitching. Glove stitching is very intense and hardworking job. An average capacity of a worker to stitch glove in a day shift is 35-50 pairs. There are few gloves styles which can be produced 100 pairs per stitcher and there are some gloves which have an average of 10 pairs a day. Gloves stitching are mostly done with Polyester or Nylon threads depending upon the requirements.
Packing and Inspection
Department is very swift in their work and have the ability to pack around 20,000 pairs in a single shift in a day. All the gloves are inspected, ironed and tagged properly. Our Packaging consists of hard cardboard boxes and all the packaging is customized and printed according to customer’s needs and requirements. All the gloves are ironed in order to get maximum fit and finger dexterity. It also makes the inspector to identify the faults in sizing and any loose stitching.
